Registration and abstract submission for the 2016 EBOH Research Day are now open!

Published: 8 February 2016

Dear EBOH members,

Find yourself longing to get some feedback on your research? Curious about what others in the Department are researching?

Registration and abstract submission for the 2016 EBOH Research Day are now open!

Research Day is scheduled for Wednesday, April 27, 2016, and it is a wonderful opportunity to showcase EBOH student research, for students to garner more experience in the peer-review process, for trainees to practice presenting their work at professional conferences and to network with other students and members of EBOH. We welcome all students to submit abstracts summarizing either completed research or works in progress. Registration is free and there will be a breakfast, lunch and wine-and-cheese reception. We are very excited to have a Keynote Presentation by one of our own upper-level EBOH PhD Candidates, and Dr. Miguel Hernan will be giving a Special Plenary session. More information re: Schedule to come!

Abstract submissions must be received by 5pm, Friday, March 4 2016, and must include a brief Background section, Methods, Results and a concise Conclusion. All abstracts will be peer reviewed by EBOH faculty, and results will be emailed by the end of March.

Please register for this event (and submit your abstract) by clicking here. Registration for this event will close on Monday, April 11, 2016.

If you have additional questions about the abstract submission process, please email the EBOSS Academic Representative, Tina Boikos, at constantina.boikos [at] mail.mcgill.ca

We look forward to receiving your abstract and learning more about your research!
