Dr. Lily H. P. Nguyen is an assistant professor of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery (OTL-HNS) and an attending staff at the Montreal Children's Hospital where she has a particular interest in the disorders of head and neck, airway and nose. She is currently Co-Director of a multidisciplinary clinic for the subspecialized care of children with extra-esophageal reflux disease.
Dr. Nguyen earned her medical degree and pursued her residency training both at McGill University. She then completed a two-year fellowship in Paediatric Otolaryngology at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. Dr. Nguyen also holds a Master's level degree from her research fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the Meakins-Christie Laboratories of McGill University.
Dr. Nguyen is heavily involved in medical education and is currently pursuing her second Master's level degree, specifically in Health Professions Education at the University of Illinois in Chicago. She is the Director of Undergraduate Medical Education for OTL-HNS at McGill, is involved in many post- and undergraduate committees, and is a member of McGill University's Centre for Medical Education. Her current research interests include simulation-based education, curriculum development, and assessment for operative skills.
