The "Interacting with Print" research group, which includes faculty from English and other fields at McGill and the Université de Montréal, studies how print shaped literary and social communities during the long eighteenth century and also how print itself was shaped by its relation to other media such as handwriting, illustration, sculpture, the theatre, public readings and conversation.
