Harry Berger Jr. is Professor Emeritus of Literature and Art History at the University of California, Santa Cruz. The author of fifteen books and more than 100 essays, he is currently preparing two books for publication, on Spenser and Plato. His work was extolled in A Touch More Rare: Harry Berger, Jr., and the Arts of Interpretation (2009).
