Engineering Student Centre
The Engineering Student Centre provides seed money for student design teams, attending conferences and student life events. The Faculty encourages students to compete in national and international design and team competitions on an equitable base with other university student teams.
The Shell Canada Design Fund
The Shell Canada Design Fund will be used to support undergraduate student teams competing in external design competitions. Student teams may apply for funding by submitting their proposals and budgets to the Student Affairs Office of the Faculty. The Associate Dean (Student Affairs), will select the recipients and the amount to be awarded to each. The Faculty is responsible for promoting the Shell Canada Design Fund. After their respective competitions, recipients will be required to report to the Faculty on the outcome of the competition and how the funding was spent.
