For midterm and final examinations, if a Multiple Choice Examination is given (machine scored), then
- multiple versions (i.e., a minimum of four versions) of the exam must be provided to students sitting adjacent to each other and labelled as such, e.g.. labelled as versions A, B, etc.
- it should be noted on the front page of the examination paper that student answers will be subject to analysis by the McGill Exam Security Computer Monitoring program in order to identify unusually similar answer patterns.
- a seating plan including names, signatures, student identification numbers, and seat locations should be recorded by the exam invigilator(s).
