Student Exchange/Special/Visiting Advising Session

Registration
Please note that Exchange, Visiting, Special students will not be able to register for most courses offered by the Faculty of Engineering due to programming restrictions and therefore manual registration will be required. Therefore, students must:
OPTION A – Prior to arrival (students who have not yet arrived)
- complete the Exchange Course Authorization Form [.doc] and obtain signature approval from home institution advisor. STUDENTS MUST SIGN THE FORM AS WELL. This form must be returned via email to Melissa Kinney or fax (514-398-5681) to the attention of Ms. Melissa Kinney, Administrative and Student Affairs Coordinator.
OR
OPTION B – Following arrival (students who have arrived)
- obtain a signature approval from McGill professors. Using the Exchange Course Authorization Form [.doc] please request that each individual instructor sign the form granting approval to register for the course. This form must be returned to Melissa Kinney, Administrative and Student Affairs Coordinator, Frank Dawson Adams Bldg., room 22.
Once the above form is received and processed, students should verify/confirm course registration on MINERVA as it is their responsibility to make sure that they are registered in the correct courses and that they do not have any time conflicts
