Introduction
The Faculty Workshop Services is a regrouping of engineering design and machining services across the Faculty's departments. This web site will provide information about the services, how to reach us, and how to use our services.
History
In consultation with Department Chairs and School Directors, the Faculty of Engineering decided to to amalgamate various design and machining resources across the Faculty into a single organization in 2010. The aim of this reorganization is to better manage staff and equipment which can be allocated to meet departments' curriculum and research support needs. We can now better address the seasonality of demand on our staff and equipment. Workshops can also speak in one voice regarding upgrading or replacing equipment.
