Undergraduate Education

Programs

The Faculty of Engineering offers undergraduate Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degrees in Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Materials Co-op, and Mining Co-op. The Faculty also offers a Bachelor of Software Engineering and a Bachelor of Science (Architecture) degree. See Undergraduate Programs for descriptions of each program.

Campus Tours

Campus tours are conducted by McGill students, Monday to Friday (excluding holidays), in English and French (by request). Tours focus on the history of McGill’s buildings, life in residence, student services, library resources, and clubs and societies.

Come to McGill at any time of the year and take yourself on a self-guided tour of Engineering's facilities.

Graduate Education

Programs

McGill's Faculty of Engineering offers graduate students the opportunity to work with world-calibre researchers and exceptionally talented students in the Departments of Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Applied Mechanics, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mining and Materials Engineering, and the Schools of Architecture and Urban Planning. Please see Graduate Programs for more information about research opportunities and available funding.

Students have access to advanced research facilities and the opportunity to be a part of innovative strategic research teams such as Advanced materials and nanotechnology, Broadband Communication, Bioengineering, Aerospace Engineering, and Engineering and Design for Sustainability

Funding

Comprehensive scholarship programs provide financial support to many graduate students, and international PhD students receive a supplemental tuition fee waiver.
