McGill Career Planning Service (CaPS)
CaPS offers help finding permanent, part-time, and summer jobs as well as internships, and offers a wide array of career planning services like career fairs, CV workshops, opportunities to meet industry professionals and an extensive resource library. myFuture is the CaPS job search tool, and it's a great way to hunt for work — both during and after your studies.
You can also scan the McGill job postings, or browse other sites listed on the CaPS site.
Work Study
The Work Study Program gives students with financial need access to clerical, research, technical, library or other jobs on campus or in some of the McGill-affiliated hospitals and organizations. The program not only helps students financially but can develop career-related skills and experience.
For more information, visit the Student Aid website.
First-Year Office
McGill's First-Year Office periodically seeks full-time students to fill paid positions. Check the First Year Office website for listings.
Student Associations
Student associations (SSMU, PGSS and faculty student associations) may have opportunities for part-time jobs for students, which are usually filled in spring for the following academic year. Contact your student association directly for more details about the opportunities available.
