Research:

As a clinical endocrinologist, my primary research interests lie in the area of reproductive endocrinology. The specific area which has involved me the most in recent years has been the determination of the adrenal and metabolic abnormalities associated with the polycystic ovary syndrome. I have an additional ongoing involvement in ovulation induction and the treatment of fertility, specifically at the present time of the dysfunctional luteal phase, the use of pulstile GnRH and FSH therapy, and lesion directed treatment of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome.I am currently co-Director of the McGill Menopause Clinic (with Dr. B. Sherwin) and current research there includes the study of arterial metabolic responses to estrogen therapy (with Dr. S. Magder).
