Images from McGill University Emergency Medicine Workflow Efficiency Project
Given the ubiquitous crisis in ED overcrowding, McGill University Emergency Medicine brought together faculty from across its hospitals to develop an interactive workshop to improve resident and practicing physician abilities to better manage ED throughput.
The following photographs illustrate each of the four stations which were part of the workflow efficiency workshops that were held for residents and practicing physicians in 2005 and 2006. They illustrate the interactive nature of these stations and the low-tech props such as the ED ‘gameboards’. Please send feedback to Raghu Venugopal (rvenu [at] videotron [dot] ca)
