The Royal College residency program (FRCP) is an independent program under the auspices of the Faculty of Medicine's Postgraduate Department. The College of Family Physicians Emergency Medicine program (CCFP-EM) is offered by the Department of Family Medicine. McGill also offers Emergency Medicine as a core rotation in undergraduate studies as well as electives and a back-to-basics course.
