Research Ethics Approval

The ethics review process is administered centrally from the Research Ethics Board Office, a unit of the Office of the Vice-Principal (Research & International Relations). The Faculty of Education is served by the University Research Ethics Board II (REB-II) and the University Research Ethics Board III(REB-III). REB-III conducts the review of all non-biomedical research involving minors and cognitively impaired adults. The REB-II conducts the reviews for projects that only involve competent adults.

The forms to be used have not changed except for minor editorial changes. The forms are located on the website: Human Subjects
