SSHRC Grants 2013 - $1.2 Million Awarded

Earlier this week the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) announced the recipients of the most recent Insight (IG) and Insight Development (IDG) grants. The Faculty of Education celebrates that over $1.2 million was awarded to eight members of our Faculty.

SSHRC Insight Grant (IG):

Insight Grants support research excellence in the social sciences and humanities. Funding is available to both emerging and established scholars for long-term research initiatives of three to five years.

SSHRC Insight Development Grant (IDG):

Insight Development Grants support research in its initial stages. The grants enable the development of new research questions, as well as experimentation with new methods, theoretical approaches and/or ideas. Funding is provided for short-term research development projects.
