Join Tara Tressel and Amanda Jarrell, PhD candidates in our Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology's Learning Sciences program, to learn about what the field of educational psychology has to say about student emotions in higher education. Tressel and Jarrell will share findings from their research exploring the link between McGill student’s achievement emotions, learning strategies and their GPA. They will also explore how students try to manage and control their emotions during studying and exams. Join the discussion about why emotions matter and what McGill can do to support student learning and achievement.
