Jennifer Wallace, Laboratory Technician in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education, has been named as winner of the Principal's Award for Administrative and Support Staff, in the 'Technical and Libraries' category.

The Royal Society of Canada today announced 14 new Fellows from McGill University including Dr. Claudia Mitchell, James McGill Professor with the Faculty of Education's Department of Integrated Studies in Education.

University of Mid-Sweden confers Honorary Doctorate upon Professor Claudia Mitchell

Dr. Claudia Mitchell, of our Department of Integrated Studies in Education, is the recipient of an Honorary Doctorate from Mid Sweden University's Faculty of Human Sciences. This commendation, a result of her nomination by the interdisciplinary Gender Studies Forum at Mid Sweden University, will be delivered officially on October 9th, 2015.

DISE's Veronika Horlik winner of RBC Emerging Artist People's Choice Award

Veronika Horlik, Art Education instructor with our faculty's Department of Integrated Studies in Education (DISE), has been announced as the recipient of the 2015 RBC Emerging Artist People's Choice Award. The award particularly celebrates the artistic medium of clay. Horlik's winning submission is entitled PROUNS(SLASH), and is a 300-pound ceramic reinterpretation of Japanese video game Katamari Damacy, also drawing inspiration from Horlik's experience with the Canadian reforestation industry.

2015: Awards & Scholarships Reception

Award winners, donors, staff and Education faculty members gathered Tuesday, March 31st to honour more than 25 students selected for Scholarships, Fellowships and Awards during the 2014-15 academic year. The event marked an opportunity for students to meet face-to-face with the donors who have contributed to their academic pursuits.

Undergraduate scholarship applications open until April 1, 2015

The Faculty of Education is now accepting scholarship applications for undergraduate students. The deadline for all applications is April 1st, 2015.

Eligible undergrad students in the Faculty of Education are now invited to apply for in-course and graduation scholarships. In order to be considered eligible, students must meet the following criteria, in addition to any award specific criteria:
