Special Gifts
Special gifts are larger contributions that focus on a particular area of support. By making a pledge over a number of years, or pooling all support into one type of gift, alumni and friends can make an impact on research projects, buy valuable equipment, endow student prizes and travel bursaries and provide important bursaries, scholarships and fellowships for undergraduate and graduate students.
Major Gifts
Major gifts are large-scale investments in the Faculty’s pursuit of its mission. These gifts are often endowed, providing support to a special area in perpetuity. Major gifts have helped the Faculty build and renew teaching and research facilities, attract and retain outstanding professors and researchers through endowed chairs and support students through fellowships and scholarships.
