Orientation Week (also known as “Frosh Week”), is a week-long, campus-wide series of events to welcome and inform new students which will start on August 29, 2011. For information on how to register, as well as a complete schedule of events, please visit the First Year Office.

Undergraduate programs in the Faculty of Education are full time (normally 4 or 5 courses per term). Students are not permitted to attend part time.
Classes are normally held between 8:30 and 5:30. Students are expected to be available for class during these times.
Bachelor of Education
This program consists of academic and professional courses, as well as studies in pedagogy and educational foundations. Students must complete a minimum of five years of study (150 credits) in order to be eligible for a BEd degree. Students who have completed a Quebec CEGEP degree, are required to complete a minimum of four years of study (120 credits), as the CEGEP degree is equivalent to the first year of university. Graduates of these programs are eligible for Quebec Teacher Certification.
Bachelor Science (Kinesiology)
This program focuses on providing students with a scientific and professional study of the assessment, maintenance and enhancement of human health and well being. Students must complete a minimum of four years of study (120 credits) in order to be eligible for a BSc (Kinesiology) degree. Students who have completed a Quebec CEGEP degree, are required to complete a minimum of three years of study (90 credits), as the CEGEP degree is equivalent to the first year of university (please refer to the Admission site for specific CEGEP requirements for this program).
