Inter-Faculty Transfer
Students currently registered in a degree at McGill (and who will not be graduating), can apply to transfer to a different faculty degree program.
- For September Admission only the application period is from
March 1st - June 1st. - Applications for Inter-Faculty Transfers must be made on Minerva.

Intra-Faculty Transfer
Students currently registered in a degree in the Faculty of Education at McGill (who will not be graduating), can apply to transfer to a different program within the Faculty of Education.
- For September Admission only the application period is from
March 1st - July 1st - Applications for an Intra-Faculty Transfer must be made on Minerva.
- The same procedures apply to both Inter and Intra Faculty Transfer applicants, with the exception for students already in the BEd Secondary program who wish to change their Major.
- Students in the BEd Secondary program can change their curriculum on Minerva.

Readmission
- For September Admission only the application period is from
March 1st - July 1st - Former McGill students wishing to return after an absence of one term or more (and have not completed a degree in the interim) must apply for a Readmission on Minerva.

- The application deadlines for Inter-Faculty Transfers is June 1st and for Intra-Faculty Transfer and Readmission is July 1st. These applications are handled by the Faculty Student Affairs Office. Normally decisions re transfers and readmission begin to be made at the end of May for the folowing September.
- Students must apply on Minerva.

- If you are registered in the School of Continuing Studies and have never been registered in a degree program, or are a special student or a holder of an undergraduate degree you must apply directly through the University Admissions Office.
