The career fair provides Education students with the opportunity to meet and interact with both local and international employers and to become familiar with their respective schools and programs. It provides them with a valuable opportunity to practice and develop skills integral to the job search process. Many students find employment at this fair, and explore options of working for a school board or for an organization abroad.
This workshop will help you navigate your next field experience! We’ll look at common issues that could negatively impact the success of your field experience and how you can prepare now. Learn about professional and ethical interpersonal communication, working with people who have different approaches, the role of time management, and how to get the most out of your field experience support network.
