Registration Terms and Conditions (2013-2014)
Terms: Online reservations are accepted on a first come, first served basis only. A confirmation/invoice will be mailed upon receipt of online reservation.
Payment: Payment due upon receipt of confirmation/invoice. All outstanding payments must be cleared onsite the morning of workshop. VISA/Mastercard?cheques are the only methods of payment accepted. A $15.00 charge will be applied to cheques that are returned due to non-sufficient funds (NSF).
Program Cancellation: McGill University and the Office of Leadership in Community and International Initiatives reserve the right to cancel seminars due to low registration. In the unlikely event of a cancellation, all registrants will be notified and will receive full refunds. If you plan to purchase non-refundable airline tickets, contact the Office of Leadership in Community and International Initiatives prior to booking your flights to find out if your seminar is being considered for cancellation.
Check-in: Begins one half-hour prior to the opening session unless otherwise specified.
Cancellations: If you are unable to attend a program, contact the Office of Leadership in Community and International Initiatives before the start of the seminar to either designate an alternate (at no additional charge) or to request a refund. Full refunds are granted only if we receive your email a minimum of 72 hours (three working days) notice. No-shows and late cancellations who fail to provide 3 working days written notice will be charged a late cancellation penalty of $50 + tax.
Travel and Accommodation: Participants are responsible for their own transportation, meals and lodging. Parking is extremely limited in the downtown core and we strongly advise participants to take public transportation (bus/metro).
On-Site Registrations: When space is available, on-site registrations are welcome. Call 24 hours prior to a seminar to ensure that space is available.
Group Discount: Group discounts are available. Please call your school board or union to find out if a group registration is being submitted.
Course Materials: Seminar fees include course materials unless otherwise specified.
Food and Beverages: Seminars include snack, coffee/tea and lunch unless otherwise noted. Participants with food allergies should advise LCII of the food allergy on their registration form. Participants are responsible for ensuring their own safety in regards to food allergies.
