The Centre for Educational Leadership (CEL), based in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education, supports the continuing professional development of teachers, policy makers and educational leaders by providing them with state-of-the art programs for learning and service grounded in the current research.

Locally, CEL:

• Provides creative leadership programming through its
  projects, partnerships and innovations.
• Offers professional development opportunities with two Graduate Certificates in Educational Leadership.
• Hosts the annual Distinguished Educator Seminar Series.
• Assesses leadership needs.
• Conducts qualitative research on professional development.

Internationally, CEL:

• Is collaborating with the Ministry of Education in Turks and Caicos Islands on professional development.
• Is exploring partnership possibilities with the National College of School Leadership in Nottingham, England.
