Description of research/teaching activities
My ten-year international speedreading/e-speedreading & visual note-taking study focuses on updating traditionally-trained readers to cope with print and e-publishing overload; upgrading teachers’ reading training, with a view to training future generations of students to cope with the inundation of expository text. This reading study and work in my areas of interest support my teaching in thesis/monograph preparation, the language arts, professional development, and curriculum design.
