Cruising the Norwegian Fjords

News: This past August, my husband, Neil Aranoff (McGill B. Eng. 1975, MBA 1985) and I were joined by some dear friends from Toronto for a cruise along the Norwegian fjords.

We had been living in Oslo for a little over a year at the time and it was a delight to share this trip with friends from home. After guiding our friends around the highlights of Oslo, the four of us took a train to historic Bergen on the west coast and then boarded a Hurtigruten cruise ship for the trip north of the Arctic Circle to Kirkenes.

The scenery was spectacular with some remarkable similarity to parts of Canada. It's always interesting for me to travel and explore new places, but it almost always gives me a greater appreciation for what we are blessed with in Canada.
