Best paper award for Prof. Haibo Zeng

The paper "Using Max-Plus Algebra to Improve the Analysis of Non-Cyclic Task Models" by Prof. Haibo Zeng and his collaborator Dr. Marco di Natale from the TECIP Institute, Scuola Superiore S. Anna in Italy won the best paper award at the 25th Euromicro Conference on Real-Time Systems (ECRTS) in Paris, France, 9-12 July 2013.

The paper introduced max-plus algebra to the real-time systems research community, which helps find the linear periodicity in the execution requests of general task graph models.
