Chinese and Japanese Language Interview and/or Placement exams

Chinese and Japanese Language courses:

Any student who wishes to enroll in any modern Chinese or Japanese Language course must undergo a placement interview and/or test.  Students with prior knowledge of the language may be asked to take a placement test.  Students will be asked to answer questions about their background and their previous experience in language learning.  Students will be interviewed on a first-come-first-served basis.

You MUST bring a language placement questionnaire to your interview:

You MUST download, print the form, fill it out and bring it to the interview/placement test.

CHINESE LANGUAGE Courses Interview/Placement test SCHEDULE:

• Wednesday, May 8^th – 10:00AM, 3434 McTavish, Room 100
• Thursday, August 29^th – 10:00AM and 1:00PM, 3434 McTavish Room 100

 JAPANESE LANGUAGE Courses Interview/Placement test SCHEDULE:

• Wednesday, May 8^th – 10:00AM, 3434 McTavish, Room 302
• Thursday, August 29^th – 10:00AM and 1:00PM, 3434 McTavish, Room 302

Important Note: ABSOLUTELY NO OTHER interview/placement test times are possible.
