Retirement Celebration for Dr. Lise Winer

Wed, 2014-06-04 15:35

In May, DISE held a remarkable retirement party for Dr. Lise Winer. Lise has been part of the McGill community for many years, recently taking on the role of Graduate Program Director. She also possesses an outstanding record of intellectual achievement on the topic of Caribbean Creole. The affection and respect with which Lise is viewed was reflected in the size and tone of her retirement party, which featured singing, dancing, and a decadent cake. Lise will be very much missed, but we all wish her well in all of her future endeavours-- and we know she has plans.
