DISE's Dale Boyle PhD a winner in International Songwriting Competition

The Faculty of Education's arts-based education researcher Dale Boyle PhD has won second place in the Americana category of the International Songwriting Competition (ISC)  for his song “You Might Come Around” from his recent album "Throwback".

Winners of Newly Established DISE Awards

The Department of Integrated Studies in Education is pleased to announce the inaugural winners of the newly established DISE Awards for Graduate Students, supported by our Graduate Excellence Fund. These awards were established in 2013 to recognize and celebrate the work of our students in several areas particularly close to our departmental raison d’être, but which are not  covered in other award categories. Congratulations to the winners and all applicants!

The 2013 Symposium will offer scholars in training the opportunity to
disseminate issues which drive their quest for knowledge, to foreground
inquiry as a shared, global endeavor, to form coalitions, and to engage in
debate on how research can be used to advance the direction of their future
studies both inside and outside the academy.
 
Join us for an evening or two of conversation, collaboration and collegiality.

The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal awarded to four members of the Faculty of Education community

This medal is awarded to citizens or permanent residents of Canada who have made significant contributions to Canada or for an outstanding achievement abroad that has brought great credit to Canada.

In order of medal presentation our four Faculty of Education recipients are:
