      Description of research/teaching activities

My main teaching and research activities centre on philosophical and ethical issues/questions in education.  My present work focuses on issues arising from Quebec’s Ethics and Religious Culture Program; particularly the issue of teacher neutrality and the importance of substantive ethics in both teaching and learning.
