Terry A. Jackson
Mr. Jackson, a McGill graduate (BCom '69), is the former President and CEO of MacDougall, MacDougall & MacTier Inc. Prior to joining MacDougall, Mr. Jackson was Executive Vice President, Personal & Commercial Client Group at the Bank of Montreal based in Toronto. He obtained his Master of Business Administration from University of Western Ontario in 1973.
Mr. Jackson has more than 30 years experience in the investment and wealth management industry. He joined the Bank of Montreal from Nesbitt Burns, where he had been most recently the Vice‐Chairman, Private Client Division from 1990 to 1995. He also held the positions of Executive Vice President, Retail and Institutional Sales (1986 to 1990) and Senior Vice President, Personal Investment Division (1980 to 1986). He retired from the Bank in early 2000.
His local, national and international activities include serving as the President of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Canada for two terms, as well as Chairman of Finance of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International. He was a former member of the International Foundation’s Board of Directors and is currently a member of its Board of Chancellors. He is also active in the Community Foundation movement in Canada. He is past Chair of the Oakville Community Foundation and is currently a Board Member of the Community Foundations of Canada. He is also a Governor of Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame.
