Mr. Samaha is currently a Principal of Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) focusing on the energy and power & utilities sectors and is based in New York City. Prior to the formation of GIP in 2006, Mr. Samaha was a Vice President in the Global Energy Group of the Investment Banking Division at Credit Suisse. Prior to Credit Suisse, he worked in the Global Power & Project Finance Group at Lehman Brothers. In his 13 year career, Mr. Samaha has worked on mergers & acquisitions, financing and restructuring transactions in the electricity and midstream oil and gas sectors, including GIP’s investments in Channelview Cogeneration, Ruby Pipeline and Chesapeake Midstream Partners. Mr. Samaha is a director of the GIP portfolio companies Ruby Pipeline and Channelview Cogeneration. Mr. Samaha holds a B.Com degree with a double major in Finance and Accounting from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
