Priority will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that failure to provide all necessary information will result in a delay in booking the room you desire and in most cases, it will have been given out to someone else by the time all the information needed has been received.
Desautels Faculty of Management Staff:
There is no charge for Desautels Faculty of Management staff.
Desautels Faculty of Management Student Groups:
Only student groups registered with the Management Undergraduate Society (MUS) and the MBA Student Council may book rooms directly. All other student groups (this could apply to BCom students) who are registered in good standing with the Students Society must contact Debbie Yacoulis of the Conference Office at 398-5433 to reserve rooms.
**The student(s) will be responsible for any damage caused to the room and/or furnishings/equipment as a result of the booking.**
There is a $48/hour porter fee for rooms booked on the weekends + additional hours for cleaning. A FOAPAL number must be included in your request to book rooms.
Please note that evening availability is practically nil, and the Faculty suggests that if you are looking for rooms in the evening:
- Try booking a room in the Student Union Building
- Depending on the activity, the Executive Institute might have something available
- You may want to consider changing the time of your booking to one of the available day-time slots
Conference Office takes responsibility collecting their own administrative fees. They are also responsible for informing Facilities Management of any weekend booking in order to charge a $48/hr cleaning fee. Student groups are required to make weekend bookings two weeks in advance.
Other Faculties booking non-academic activities should book directly through Conference Office.
Other Faculties who would like to book a room for academic activities may book directly. There is no charge for room bookings for university academic activities.
