Portable classroom equipment
What is a portable equipment unit?
A portable equipment unit contains a video & data projector, a computer (with external speakers and DVD player) and a VCR.
How many portable equipment units do we have?
We have 4-5 units located in the Sandiford Computing Lab
Where can you use these portable equipment units?
They can be used in any room that does not have permanent equipment.
How to reserve a portable equipment unit?
To reserve a portable unit, you must send an email to senior [dot] mgmt [at] mcgill [dot] ca. Please specify your name, course number, the date and the length of time that you require the unit. .
Sandiford consultants will deliver the portable classroom units of a few minutes before your class or event begins and pick them up at the time you have specified. You will not be responsible for the pick up.
If you require the portable unit outside the opening hours of the Sandiford Computing Centre on weekends, the Sandiford consultant will leave the portable in the locked classroom for you and pick it up the following day. You must reserve the classroom first at Roombookings [dot] mgmt [at] mcgill [dot] ca.
If you wish to practice using the equipment, you must notify Sandiford Computing Centre via email (senior [dot] mgmt [at] mcgill [dot] ca) notifying us of when you require the equipment. We will respond with the availability of the equipment for you to practice with.
