Faculty Position in Finance

The Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University invites applications for a position in the Finance Area available at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level, with the appointment starting in August 2012. Applicants from all areas of finance are encouraged to apply.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties include developing and/or maintaining an active research program aimed at making a significant contribution to the profession, teaching in the undergraduate, MBA, and Finance Ph.D. programs, as well as contributing to other teaching and administrative initiatives of the Finance Area and the Faculty. Teaching and service requirements are similar to other research-intensive universities.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum qualifications for candidates at the Assistant Professor level are a Ph.D. in finance or a related field, an established research agenda, and commitment to quality teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates nearing the completion of their Ph.D. degrees will also be considered. For an appointment at the Associate or Full Professor levels, a significant track record in the leading finance journals is required.
