The MMM program draws on the resources and facilities of McGill University in general and on the Faculties of Engineering and Management in particular.
Libraries

All registered students have access to the McGill University Library System which comprises 16 libraries and reading rooms and a number of affiliated collections. The system has holdings of over five million books and journals and is fully automated. McGill Libraries' electronic databases may be queried on MIDAS workstations in any library or searched from remote computers. Over 200 databases are currently available.

The Howard Ross Library of Management has a collection of over 250,000 books, business periodicals and microforms as well as specialized electronic resources which include 600 current journal titles in Business Periodicals Ondisc (BPO) and a series of databases on CD-ROM covering financial and statistical data.
The Schulich Library of Science and Engineering also contains specific electronic resources, among them: the IEEE/IEE Electronic Library, the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Digital Library, the Sci Finder Scholar from Chemical Abstracts Service, and an article retrieval service by the Canada Institute for Scientific and Technical Information (CISTI).
The MMM program has compiled a definitive collection of books and periodicals on manufacturing and supply chain management. These fall under a subject guide with the following URL:

Of equal importance is the videotape collection on Manufacturing Management, located in the PSE Library. In addition, there are electronic databases of abstracts for most journals on manufacturing subjects which are available online or at the libraries. There is a document retrieval service (2 days) called Swetscan for any article not in the library.
Computing facilities
Information Systems and Technology (IST) is responsible for McGill's computing and communications infrastructure and the central systems that depend on it. Network and Communications Services (NCS) is the IST unit that operates the university's optical backbone network and manages Internet access, DAS and McGill's Virtual Private Network.

There are more than 30 separate computer laboratories that are located and managed by faculties and departments across the campuses. MMM students avail themselves mostly of the MBA Computer Labs in the Desautels Faculty of Management and the McCAD Computer Lab and the Machine Tool Lab in the Faculty of Engineering.
