Scholarships are intended for well-qualified candidates who come from the not-for-profit or voluntary sectors who may not have access to financial resources. Scholarships may also be offered to students with extraordinary academic achievement.

Scholarships are only offered to candidates who meet all our published requirements. Scholarship decisions are made after the candidate has been admitted to the program. These decisions are final.

A number of Scholarships are available to qualified MBA Japan candidates.

JMEC Alumni Scholarship

This is limited to alumni of the Japan Market Expansion Competition (JMEC). Candidates need to provide certificate of their participation.

JET Alumni Scholarship

McGill MBA Japan offers a Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Alumni Scholarship. To be eligible for a JET Alumni Scholarship, candidates need to provide confirmation of their JET participation.

Not-for-Profit Scholarship

This scholarship is intended for candidates who have made substantial contribution through not-for-profit or volunteer organizations during their career.

McGill Entrance Scholarship

There is also a McGill Entrance Scholarship, for which all candidates may apply.

To apply for any of these Scholarships, students should complete the Scholarship Application to submit with their applications identifying the Scholarship for which they wish to be considered and elaborating on their academic qualifications, potential contribution to the program and financial need. For those applying to the JET or JMEC Alumni Scholarships, proof of participation must be included with their scholarship application.

If you have any other questions regarding these scholarships, please contact the McGill MBA Japan office.

Students may be eligible for financial assistance from the government of their home country, state, province or prefecture, or city. In particular, present or former members of the United States Armed Forces may be eligible for extensive financial support. Interested candidates should contact their government educational funding institution for information.

McGill University awards scholarships and other financial assistance at its sole discretion. Not all scholarships may be awarded in any given year. Scholarship decisions are final.
