Post-MBA Certificate

Program Structure

The Certificate is awarded upon completion of at least 5 MBA second year elective courses (15 credits to a maximum of 27 credits).

Admission Requirements

Admission to the Certificate is limited to individuals who already hold an MBA or MSc (Administration) degree deemed equivalent to a North American MBA from a recognized university.  Candidates must have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 or equivalent.

Work Experience

Applicants must have at a minimum, two years of relevant full-time work experience after completing their university degree. Candidates in the Certificate program will attend elective courses offered in the MBA Japan program. Candidates in the MBA Japan program have an average of 10 years of work experience and usually have at least five years of work experience before joining the program.

Reference Letters

Two reference letters must be submitted by individuals who have been directly responsible for evaluating your academic and/or managerial performance and potential.

English Proficiency

The Certificate program is conducted in English and students must have solid English skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening in order to participate in our program. For candidates whose mother tongue is not English and who do not meet the Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies criteria for English proficiency must demonstrate achievement on the TOEFL, or the IELTS. For the TOEFL test, candidates must achieve at least 86, with a 20 on each of the four sections.  For the IELTS, candidates must achieve a band score of 6.5 (academic module). Interview

Qualified applicants will be invited to an interview with an alumni or staff member. Interviews take place at our office in Tokyo.

Tuition

Tuition fees are 97,368 Yen per credit plus Japanese Consumption tax of 5%.

First Payment

The first payment of 292,104 Yen plus Japanese Consumption tax of 5% is requested upon acceptance into the program.
