All newly-admitted BCom students are encouraged to attend two key Orientation events in late August: Discover McGill and Advising Day.
Discover McGill is a university-wide orientation day, full of activities designed to officially welcome you to McGill and to make you aware of the numerous resources and services on campus. The day following Discover McGill is called Advising Day; newly-admitted students in the Faculty of Management are encouraged to attend the appropriate session for useful tips and detailed information on program requirements and Faculty policies.
