Mr. Perry J. Miele serves as Chairman and Managing Partner at Beringer Capital and is responsible for investing activities, strategic development and oversight of its investment portfolio. Mr. Miele is a Founder and General Partner of The Mentor Fund. He has been a Owner & Chairman at Brian Unlimited Distribution Company since 2006. Mr. Miele has over 20 years of experience in the advertising and marketing industry and has earned a reputation as a strategic builder of ... businesses. In 1987, he became a Partner at Gingko where Mr. Miele grew it to become one of Canada’s largest independently owned agencies. Mr. Miele successfully negotiated a merger with DraftWorldwide (a subsidiary of Interpublic Group) in 1998. Soon after the merger, he joined the firm’s Executive Management team as the President of the International Group. In that position, Mr. Miele was responsible for 36 offices operating in 24 countries and led the international expansion with a combination of strategic acquisitions and organic growth. Over three years, he led over $80 million in acquisitions which grew revenue from $70 million to $140 million. Mr. Miele started his career at Canadian Federal Government, rising to the position of the Chief of Staff to the Minister of International Trade during the NAFTA negotiations. He has been the Chairman of Budco since 2003 and has been its Executive Chairman since 2006. He serves as Director of Andrew Peller Ltd. Mr. Miele sits on the Boards of Izumi Outdoors. He sits on the Boards of Fishing Forever Foundation. He is a member of the Young President s Organization and a member of McGill's expert panel for the M.B.A. program and has guest lectured at McGill as well as other university business programs. He has done a B.A. from the University of Western Ontario.
