Desautels Professor Liette Lapointe publishes one of the Best Articles in Medical Informatics

Professor Liette Lapointe's article was selected by the Editorial Board of the 2012 IMIA Yearbook of Medical Informatics as one of the best articles from the literature in medical informatics published in the past year.

The article is entitled: 

"The IT productivity paradox in health: a stakeholder's perspective." Int J Med Inform 2011 Feb;80(2):102-15.

About the IMIA Yearbook of Medical Informatics:

IMIA (International Medical Informatics Association) publishes the annual IMIA Yearbook of Medical Informatics, containing references, reviews, and links to these ”best of medical informatics" articles from the preceding year, together with a number of original articles as well as background information on IMIA. Twenty IMIA Yearbooks have been published since their beginning in 1992. This IMIA Yearbook is a non-profit project to advance the field of medical informatics and to stimulate dissemination and exchange of information between researchers and professionals belonging to IMIA's societies. Schattauer Publishing Company, Stuttgart, Germany, publishes the Yearbook for IMIA.

The Yearbook has appeared in August 2012 and will be made available to over 20,000 members of the healthcare and biomedical scientific communities through both a published book version and online access. It reaches members in more than 40 societies worldwide participating in IMIA.
