MBA Rankings

McGill University is consistently ranked as one of the top universities in the world and the leading university in Canada by Times Higher Education. The Globe and Mail recently ranked McGill as #1 in Canada for reputation with employers and for city satisfaction among students.

The MBA program at McGill’s Desautels Faculty of Management is among the best programs in the world. The 2012 Global Financial Times MBA Rankings places our program at 61st in the world, and among Canada’s Top 3 MBA programs.  We are #1 in Canada, and Top 6 in North America for job placement 3 months after graduation (98%). The Desautels Faculty of Management MBA also ranks 1st in Canada for aims achieved (graduates fulfilling their academic and professional goals) and international faculty (>80%).

In the 2012 América Economía Global MBA Program Rankings, our MBA ranked 12th in the world (alongside Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business and London Business School) and 1st in Canada, based on academics and attractiveness to Latin American students who wish to study abroad.

For the second year in a row the Desautels MBA had top results in Canadian Business’ MBA Guide for 2011 — 1st in Canada for average starting salary post-MBA, percentage change in post-graduation salary and percentage of international faculty.

This fall, the Economist ranked our full-time MBA program 64th in the world as well as 1st in Canada for student quality, number of faculty per student, overseas exchange percentage intake and percentage of graduates with jobs. The New York Times / International Herald Tribune ranked McGill University 19th in the world in terms of employability, measured by the results of a survey in which CEOs of leading companies were asked to select the top universities from which they recruited.

Eduniversal also ranked the Desautels Faculty among the top 3 business schools in North America, as well as #1 in Canada for major international influence.

Corporate Knights Magazine ranked Desautels as one of the most progressive schools in Canada in terms of addressing sustainable development and corporate social responsibility through teaching, research and practice.
