Mark Taborsky, CFA, Managing Director, and Senior Portfolio Manager of BMACS' US Fiduciary business. Mr. Taborsky's responsibilities include developing, assembling and managing investment solutions involving multiple strategies and asset classes for all US-based fiduciary clients.
Prior to joining BlackRock in 2011, Mr. Taborsky was an Executive Vice President at PIMCO, responsible for PIMCO's asset allocation strategies and European solutions efforts. Prior to PIMCO, he was the Managing Director of External Management at Harvard Management Company. In this capacity, he managed the majority of Harvard's external manager relationships across asset classes. Before Harvard, he held a number of senior roles at Stanford Management Company, lastly as Managing Director of absolute return, fixed income and internal trading. He also has experience as a senior trader and strategist at commodities trading advisor John W. Henry & Company. Mr. Taborsky began his investment career in 1993.
He has 18 years of investment experience and holds a MBA in finance and policy from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor of commerce degree from McGill University
