Luc Pinard joined CGI in 1978 and is currently Executive Vice-President, Corporate Performance and Knowledge Management. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing CGI’s end-to-end operational excellence initiatives, which involves spearheading programs that provide CGI professionals with the resources needed to best meet their client and professional responsibilities.
As part of this objective, Mr. Pinard oversees company-wide corporate performance and knowledge management processes and platforms that assist business units in meeting their strategic goals. He also is responsible for managing the company's portfolio of IP assets and has overall responsibility for CGI’s Quality and Methodologies, Engagement Assessment Services, Internal Audit and Technology Leadership programs.
Prior to this and other corporate executive positions, Mr. Pinard served as President, European operations, where he was responsible for the provision of end-to-end IT services in the areas of consulting, systems integration and the management of IT functions to clients. He continues to provide leadership support to CGI’s European operations.
Mr. Pinard has accumulated more than 30 years of experience as an information technology professional, consultant, project manager and a consulting firm executive. He has held several management positions as engagement and business development manager, corporate planning and development and as business unit leader.
