The Desautels MBA is a 20-month, full time program designed to instill a worldly perspective in its students through an integrative learning approach to management while maximizing each individual’s development through personalized connections. The program is built on four pillars:
Integrated management
To enable students to lead effectively and responsibly in an increasingly interconnected world, the Desautels Faculty of Management has created an innovative integrated MBA program. Integrated management is incorporated in the following ways:
State of the art facilities
The Desautels MBA program has state-of-the-art facilities housed on the third floor of the Bronfman Building, located in the heart of Montreal’s downtown core.
The MBA classrooms feature the latest audio-visual equipment to maximize learning as well as great outdoor views. Oversized windows allow for plenty of natural light throughout the facilities.
The MBA Student Lounge is a dedicated space for MBA professional and social events.
International students
Our MBA program prides itself on pairing its global outlook with an international student population. Over half of our MBA students come from abroad. Their experience informs our classroom approach in advancing management education, and this multiculturalism builds a campus culture unique among Canada's MBA programs.

French Language Centre
The French as a Second Language (FRSL) offerings include a variety of credit courses given throughout the year to students in any academic program. A placement test and departmental permission are required as well as mandatory class attendance throughout first two weeks in order to remain in the class.

Clubs and activities
McGill's MBA students maintain an active and enriching series of extracurricular activities. Beyond the classroom experience, as a McGill MBA candidate, you will have an incomparable opportunity to meet new people, develop your talents, and learn new skills. You can gain important hands-on experience through our student-run professional consulting groups, or by helping coordinate a major annual business conference organized by McGill MBA students, such as the Desautels Business Conference.
