Mr. Salabi has 20 years’ of experience in leading go-to-market efforts of medium and large size companies operating high-growth industries. He is experienced in both B2C and B2B Marketing, Strategic Planning, Marketing Communications (Branding, Advertising, Sponsorships...), Product Management, Pricing, Customer Acquisition and Retention, Customer Lifecycle Management and Database Marketing/Marketing Research.
He is currently Vice President, Marketing at RONA Inc. where he manages all aspects relating to the RONA Brand and Mass Advertising, Sponsorships, Web Marketing, Private Label Marketing as well as Sustainable Development. Prior to that he was V.P. of Marketing at Autodesk Media & Entertainment (M&E) where he managed M&E Industry and Product Marketing activities in the Film, Games, TV/Broadcast and Web/Multimedia industries. Prior to joining Autodesk, he spent close to 8 years in the Wireless Telecommunications industry as Vice President of Marketing (Fido brand) for Rogers Wireless Inc., and before that worked in Deloitte Consulting’s Strategy practice. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and his M BA degree both from McGill University.
Outside of work, M r. Salabi is actively involved with Centraide du Grand Montreal where he is currently President of one of the three Allocation Committees which study agencies, grant applications, and evaluate the relevance and effectiveness of their work. He is also a busy soccer and hockey dad to his two kids.
