Abstract

(none provided/unofficial)

Archer Daniel Midland Company has had success implementing green chemistry, and has won several Presidential Green Chemistry Awards. A feature product is Archer RC, a revolutionary, non-hazardous, naturally derived ingredient for the paint and coatings industry that lowers latex paint’s overall VOCs while providing similar levels of function and quality as traditional coalescing agents. The company must decide how to move forward with this product (and others) given the fragmented nature of the paints and coatings industry and emerging competition.
