Class 4 of the IMHL started in March 2012. The program is offered in five separate modules. Scheduled dates are as follows:
| A Symposium followed by Module 1 | March 18 - 29, 2012 at Mont Gabriel (north of Montreal) |
| Module 2 | June 3 - 14, 2012 at McGill University |
| Module 3 | October 14 - 25, 2012 |
| Module 4 | February 3 - 14, 2013 |
| Module 5 | June 2 - 13, 2013 at McGill University |
Depending on the geographic make-up of the class, one or two modules could take place in other countries. Classes usually meet during the day of each module, with one day off. Activities take place during some evenings. A Final Paper is required to complete the program which typically takes an additional 6 months. Graduation is scheduled for May 2014.
