by bringing into an ongoing forum the best of practicing leadership from
all aspects of health and from all regions of the world."
Professor Henry Mintzberg, Cleghorn Chair of
Management Studies & IMHL Faculty Director

The Faculties of Medicine and Management of McGill University proudly introduce the International Masters for Health Leadership (IMHL), a learning opportunity for health leaders that is radically different. It is designed to act as a catalyst in developing an integrated and sustainable approach to health, with specific impact on key issues in the participants' organizations and communities.
“The Faculties of Medicine and Management have decided that there was a great opportunity in the IMHL program as - by history, by temperament, and by expertise, which rarely exist in one University at such a level – we have the capacity to make a major contribution in health internationally, and transform the way health care is managed.” Dean Richard Levin, Faculty of Medicine

You are a successful manager in health care, perhaps in a hospital in Minneapolis, public health in Ghana, health promotion and prevention in Quebec. You likely came out of professional practice, whether medicine, nursing, or other health background, which required extensive education.
