Gordon Richard Thoman
Gordon Richard Thoman serves as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Corporate Acquirers Inc. Mr. Thoman serves as Chief Operating Officer of Xerox Corp. He serves as Corporate Director of Schneider Electric SA. He served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Xerox Corporation and was a Managing Partner of Corporate Perspectives. From 1993 to 1997, he served in senior capacities at IBM Corporation, initially as Group Executive for Personal Systems ... Group (including the PC Company); then as Chief Financial Officer, where he was responsible for manufacturing, purchasing, brand management, and IBM's Global Credit business. Mr. Thoman served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Nabisco International Inc. from 1992 to 1993. He served as Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer of American Express Travel Related Services. He served as a Senior Advisor to Evercore Partners, where he worked on financial advisory, private equity and technology investing from 2001 to 2002. He has been Vice Chairman of Deutsche Bank Trust Corporation (Formerly Bankers Trust New York Corp.) since September 1, 1997. He serves as Vice Chairman of Bankers Trust Company, a subsidiary of Deutsche Bank Trust Corporation. He has been a Director of Chrysler Corporation since 1998 and Deutsche Bank Trust Corporation since 1997. He serves as a Director of Xerox Corporation, Fuji Xerox Company Ltd. and Union Bancaire Privee (Switzerland). Mr. Thoman also serves on a number of non-profit boards including: the Council of the Americas, the Americas Society, the French-American Foundation, the Fletcher School (Tufts University, co-administered by Harvard University) and the McGill University Faculty of Management. He serves as a Member of General Electric Investments Equity Advisory Board, Yale School of Management Advisory Board, Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy Advisory Board and the INSEAD U.S. Advisory Board. He serves as a Member of the Supervisory Boards of Union Bancaire Privee, DB Capital Partners Advisory Board and Schneider Electric SA. He served as a Member of Supervisory Board of Daimler AG (formerly, DaimlerChrysler AG) since 1998. He is a member of the Trilateral Commission and the Council of Foreign Relations. He is a former member of the Business Council and the Business Roundtable. He was awarded a Legion of Honor by the French government. Mr. Thoman received his B.A. (honors) from McGill University (Montreal); M.A. and M.A.L.D degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University (co-administered by Harvard University); a Diploma Es Etudes Internationales from the Graduate Institute of International Studies, Geneva Switzerland; and a Ph.D. from the Fletcher School.
